Michelin Primacy MXV4 Tire Review
Touring All Season Tire The Michelin Primacy MXV4 is a great all season tire that thrives in almost all driving conditions. Handling on dry roads was superior to other all season tires tested. Acceleration, braking, and cornering were all very quick and responsive. The tires also provide a nice and quiet ride. In wet conditions the tire does very well, but loses a little grip when cornering aggressively. The tire's design is great at preventing hydroplaning when coming across pools in the road. The Primacy MXV4 also tested very well in light snow / ice with the sipes (small slits in the tread) gripping very well when turning and braking.
Conclusion:
Compared to other touring all season tires the Primacy MXV4 scores very well all categories. Cornering stability is great, dry traction is amazing, and steering response is fantastic. It is reasonably priced for the quality of the tire and comes with an excellent warranty as well- 6 years / 60K miles. Prices range from about $116 to $266 per tire depending on the size. 8.1 out of 10 people surveyed said they would purchase this tire again. Out of 5 possible points: Total average rating 4.7
