Built with Hankook's Kontrol Technology, this tire is built to give drivers maximum traction, cornering, and safety no matter what the conditions. Hybrid silica also enhances wet traction while giving lower rolling resistance which increases fuel efficiency. If you click on the image of the Ventus S1 Noble 2 to the left you can see the tires tread design and sipes in greater detail. Hankook Ventus S1 noble 2 Specs and Info: Test Results: When taken for a test ride Ventus S1 Noble 2 provided awesome dry traction and handling. Keep in mind that these are all season tires so they are going to have more small sipes for snow / ice traction, and in turn will not perform as well in dry conditions as a dedicated summer tire. With that said, if you are looking for a tire that needs to perform in wet, dry, and light snow this is a beast of a tire that will surely grip the road, regardless of the conditions. We drove these tires hard in dry and pouring rain and were amazed with all aspects of this tire including traction, steering response, cornering, and braking. These tires are also supposed to save drivers money at the pump with special low rolling resistance technology. In some tires we have previously tested, low rolling resistance tires have not provided great traction and handling. Often these tires are made in such a manner that less of the tire comes into contact with the road which then in turn diminishes the tires grip. This was not the case with these Kumho's. So you get the best of the both worlds: great traction and increased mpg!
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a high performance all season tire, search no further. The Hankook Ventus S1 noble 2 comes in quite a few different sizes and has an average price of about $150 per tire which is a great value. Do you have these tires on your vehicle?
