Black Friday is probably the biggest shopping day of the year. Everyone is out and about fighting their way to through Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and other stores to get mega discounts on TV's, ipads, iphones, and other bargains.
Black Friday is probably the biggest shopping day of the year. Everyone is out and about fighting their way to through Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and other stores to get mega discounts on TV's, ipads, iphones, and other bargains.
Some retailers even opened up their doors on Thursday to attract shoppers a day ahead of time! No doubt about it this time of year is one big shopping extravaganza.
One thing most people don't really think about when it comes to Black Friday / Cyber Monday shopping though is tires. Most major tire shops and retailers have big savings that can be paired up with manufacturer rebates for even bigger savings. Most people don't really think about ordering tires online, and traditionally just go to the tire shop down the street.
Why should you order tires online?
When you go to the tire shop down the street, they will sell you some crappy one size fits all tire that they have in stock, rather than the best tires for your vehicle. My guess, is that they will sell you All Season tires even though you never drive in the snow. What you really want is some good summer tires though, if don't encounter any snow / ice during the winter. Summer tires perform better in both wet and dry conditions than All Season tires do.
The guys at the tire shop have not tested or driven on any of the tires they are selling. They are just selling you tires based upon the price and what will fit on the wheels of your vehicle. If you go online, you can read reviews and tests of most tire models to find out the pros and cons of each.
The second reason you should order tires online is that you can get them for significantly cheaper most of the time. You don't have to pay sales tax, sometimes you get free shipping, and their are plenty of rebates and discounts available!
